Welcome to Air Force ROTC Detachment 805 and Texas A&M University!

Air Force ROTC is an educational and leadership program giving students the opportunity to become Air Force officers while completing a degree. It is designed to teach leadership and give you practical experience to prepare you to assume positions of increasing responsibility and importance in the modern Air Force.

The Air Force ROTC detachment at Texas A&M is one of the nation’s oldest and best. Aggies on active duty continually demonstrate the benefits of their Air Force ROTC training. AFROTC Detachment 805 at Texas A&M has produced more than 70 Air Force generals, and over the years has commissioned more officers into the Air Force than any other ROTC program.

Texas A&M's Corps of Cadets provides a unique military school environment in the middle of a modern university campus.  The combination of Air Force ROTC and the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets produces outstanding officers for the United States Air Force!
